GraphQL has caused a lot of headlines proclaiming the untimely demise of REST. GitHub already jumped ship from their old REST API to a new GraphQL API in 2017. Should the REST of us follow suit? The issue isn't that simple because we're comparing apples to oranges. Join me to find out why REST and GraphQL are solutions to different problems and what each of them bring to the API table.
